About The Tempest
The Tempest is the student newspaper of Solano Community College, located on the main campus in Fairfield, California.
The Tempest operates through the Journalism 60 and 62 classes, Newspaper Production. Any student eligible for English 001 may sign up for the class. Class meets in 1861 MWF from 12-2, with other hours by arrangement.
The variable-unit transferable class is fun and allows you to have a voice in your community. The Tempest seeks writers, photographers, editors, cartoonists and other talent to join the staff.
