"Provocative" Photo wins prize in Art Show

 

Timothy Griffin, a Solano Community College student, was the first place winner in color photo, as well as winner for one of the Jurors’ Choice Awards at the 47th Annual Juried Art Show. His winning piece is a "provocative" arrangement of nude body parts with grids separating male and female.

 You find yourself in an elegant dinner. Everyone dances under the crystal chandelier in their silky stylish classic 1800s outfits. Then all of the sudden without warning shrieks are heard, glass breaks and a smell of dead flesh is around you. The zombies have come and they’re hungry.
