ASSC hosts local debate at Solano College

The Associated Students of Solano College (ASSC) student government is hosting a local   political debate scheduled for Wednesday, May 9.

Bud Stevenson and Jack Batson will be debating on current political issues, including the upcoming presidential election.

Rick Vaccaro, Fairfield’s vice-mayor, will be introducing Stevenson and Batson.

The debate begins at 12:30 pm and run until 2:00 pm in the back half of the cafeteria in the 1400 building located on the main campus.

Arturo Castillo, legislative advocate of ASSC student government, will be the moderator of the debate. Students will be able to ask questions of the two participants by submitting a speaker card to Castillo during the debate.
