The exhibition ranges from fine art, applied art, portraiture, black and white, color, digital and film. The photographs run the gamut of graffiti to the lush, greenery of Central Park. There are over 30 photographs in the show.
James Tennery, manager of RiverPointe said, "We're excited to be able to display work by talented artists. It develops a great relationship between RiverPointe and Solano colleges."
Ron Zak, photography department head said, "You gotta see it to believe it, words cannot suffice to describe it."
Zak said the travel classes at Solano College offer the students great support and expanded knowledge of photography. It allows the students to make contact with the camera, and to be immersed unencumbered for a few weeks to improve their skill level.
There will be a reception at RiverPointe Resort Thurs., Dec. 7 at 6 p.m. Viewers have the opportunity to purchase the 11 x 14 and 12 x 18 prints from $150 to $200 each.
