The Contra Costa Comets were not having it.
To start the game, both teams were out of sync, with a total of 13 turnovers in the first five minutes of the game.
Going in at halftime, the Falcons were down 23-34. Not an overwhelming deficit, but more importantly, they didn't have momentum on their side.
Contra Costa came out in the second half and reeled off a 16-7 run, and never looked back, winning the game 68-43.
Solano couldn't slow down the Comets point guard, Marqueta Green, who made four three-pointers and ended the night with 21 points.
Freshman Alishea Kelly scored 12 points off the bench for the Falcons, with some impressive lay-ups in traffic.
Sophomore Deanna Mayfield also chipped in with 9 points, but was disappointed at having lost the game.
"I was mad and upset because I felt we could have won that game," Mayfield said.
This devastating loss drops Solano to 6-2, with both losses coming at the hands of Contra Costa. The womens playoff chances now rely heavily on winning second place in the BVC.
"If we continue to win our last four games then we will definitely be in second," Mayfield said.
With The Lady Falcons next home game against third place Yuba City college, on February 9, they face another must win situation.
