Also happening every Friday at Solano College is "Friday Night Live". Put on by the ASSC, "Friday Night Live" takes place every Friday. With movies, karaoke, music and food, the only thing missing is YOU. Come out and have a good time mingling and hanging out with other students at this weekly shindig. To find out more information, go inside the 1400 building, across from the bookstore, and ask any questions you might have to the person at the desk.
Now playing in a theatre near you. "Dead Silence"; rated R, a horror film about a man who returns to his hometown after the passing of his wife. Once settled he learns of the legend of Mary Shaw; a ventriloquist who was murdered but whose presence still lingers around the town. "I Think I Love My Wife," Rated R, staring Chris Rock, is a romantic comedy about a man who is bored in his world of suburbia. While he is married to a wonderful woman; a new exciting, spontaneous woman comes into his life and he is tempted by her charm. Therefore, he constantly has to remind himself that he loves his wife; at least he thinks he does.
We haven't seen Sandra Bullock in a while. Her new movie,
"Premonition", Rated PG-13, is definitely starting a buzz. In the movie she plays Linda, who is having what seems to be a perfect life. Until one day she hears word that her husband is dead, however when she wakes up the next day, with her husband lying next to her she figures that she just had a nightmare. Later she realizes that her dream wasn't just a dream and must race to find a way to save her family.
With all of these events going on and the weather being as beautiful as it is, there is no reason not to be out and about. So get out and do something!
