The Solano women's soccer team has been in existence for five years, and have went on to become the Bay Valley Conference champions three out of those five years. There success is shown in their all-time conference record, which stands at a staggering 39-6-5.

This year's team plans on continuing the tradition of winning in conference, and has done that so far this year, winning their first two games.

The Falcons had a somewhat average non-conference record of 5-3-2. Solano started off 4-1-0 in the non-conference, but then slid in the next four games with a record of 0-2-2. The Falcons capped off the non-conference schedule with a much needed win, as it seems that was all the momentum they needed to carry them into conference play.

Solano started conference play at home against Yuba, who had an undefeated record of 21-0-0 last year and gave the Falcons one of their two conference losses. This year it was a different story as Yuba came to Solano with a record of 5-4-0 and the Falcons had their revenge with a 2-0 win.

Solano point leader, Adriana Vasquez, had two goals in the home opener win against Yuba, while Katie Kempkey and Jamie Leite both had assists. Paige Cruz was defending the goal for the entire 90 shut-out minutes. She had eight saves in the second straight victory for the Falcons.

For the second game of the season, Solano traveled to play a struggling Los Medanos team. Los Medanos had a record of 2-6-0 as Solano came and won the game 4-1. Kellie Detweiler recorded a hat trick with three goals, as Jamie Leite also recorded a goal. Ericka Parra had two assists in the win which extended Solano's win streak to three. Paige Cruz and Rebekah Corral split the goal keeping duties with 45 minutes a piece and 2 saves a piece. Cruz allowed the only goal for Los Medanos.

Solano will be hosting a Marin team that has won two games since 2003 on Oct. 16, as the Falcons look to continue their in conference dominance.
