Dear Advice Diva,
I have a really close friend whom I've always trusted and who knows everything about me. Although, a few days ago my boyfriend (whom I met through her) told me that this friend was telling him how we are in two different places in our lives right now, and that he's career-oriented, and all I do is party. She even told him that I still speak to my ex. It seems to me that she is warning him about me, but she's supposed to be one of my best friends. I know she has no interest in him, but why would she do that? I haven't said anything to her yet because I don't know how to approach it. (It happened once already with my ex). Help!

Dear Shady Friends:
So you're saying that this same friend played the same nasty trick on you with your ex? And you still consider her a really close friend? And you don't know how to approach her?
You know she's going to deny everything, all the while rejoicing inside that it got back to you, right? So why even bother confronting this Mean Girl in an effort to resuscitate your friendship? It's not worth saving. Blow a cool breeze her way and look for friends who don't get off by tearing others down.
UNFORTUNATE FASHION
I don't understand it when ladies show off their bra straps when wearing anything fashionable. You can have the sexiest dress on and ruin it by wearing obvious undergarments Intimate apparel should not be seen. It makes women look dumpy, not chic.
