The phrase "three-game win streak" seemed possible for the Solano Falcons after a deep strike on the first drive of the game. Then, they scored as many points as backup quarterback Bobby Guillory threw interceptions for the rest of the game, which was five.
And hence the result, a 49-12 beat down by Mendocino College of Ukiah, and an abysmal 2-8 record for the season thanks in large part to poor defensive play as exhibited in the last game of the season.
Blake McAhren threw the first and only touchdown pass of the game, 64 yards, to Michael Hicks to make it 7-0.
McAhren then suffered a helmet-to-helmet hit and was pulled for Guillory. A wide receiver by position, the lack of experience showed, as Guillory threw 31 passes, but completed only seven for 68 yards.
Hicks caught three passes for 83 yards. Bryce Hawthorne led the Falcons in rushing, with 73 yards on 17 carries.
