The Lady Falcons couldn't take advantage of Angela Franklin's 29 points, as they lost to the College of the Siskiyous 72-59. The loss eliminates them from playoff contention.
"We got pretty good shots. It's not like we didn't run our offense well," said head coach Matt Borchert. "It just didn't go in."
The Falcons were 18 of 67 (27 percent) from the field, and Franklin was the only player that shot more than once and made 40 percent of her shots.
"I put a lot of pressure defensively to do well," he said. "(Siskiyous) already shoot the ball pretty good and when you feel like you have to stop them every time you go up the floor it makes it really tough to stop them."
Solano was able to steal the ball 15 times, but wasn't able to stop Siskiyous.
No other players scored in double-digits. The next player with the most points was Corina Cornelius with seven points.
The loss puts an end to Solano's season, and their cumulative 15-game win streak. It was also the first time Solano had gone undefeated in Bay/Valley Conference (BVC) play.
