The deli also offers Solano students 10% off every time they come in and sandwich cards on request where when you buy 10 sandwiches you get the eleventh free.
The best part of the deli is simply the pure freshness of the food. In every single bite is a crisp crunch of assorted veggies, it's as if the veggies were delivered that morning directly from the farm. Each sandwich is ordered like a regular walk up restaurant where your personal sandwich builder asks you exactly what you want and then makes it, unlike the popular deli assembly line where you feel like you have one split second to decide if you want oil and vinegar or not.
The deli has a larger variety of meats, cheeses, and breads to choose from then any of it's competitors. How could you get sick of turkey when they have 5 different kinds, including peppered, honey maple, and smoked?
The sandwiches are large and very filling. It is a healthy alternative that isn't turned into a bad one like Subway's chipotle ranch sauce on top of loads of bacon, ham, and salami.
If you don't believe me about how great the place is, just ask one of our own football players. According to the owner of the Cordelia Deli, "The whole Solano football team comes in every Saturday after practice and they all order a Mega Sandwich."
The Mega Sandwich is any regular sandwich on a 16 inch roll for $6.25. Another great deal to look for is their Daily Specials Board, every weekday a different sandwich is featured for $7.25 with a small bag of chips and a fountain drink. Both of these deals are especially good for students on a budget.
The Deli has been around for over 20 years and came under new management five years ago. It is also now serving breakfast until 11 a.m.
Cordelia Deli is open Monday-Friday 730 a.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
