The Solano Falcons football team couldn't hold onto the lead or ball at times, as they lost to the American River Beavers 40-26 in 100 degree temperatures at Sacramento. With a 20-13 lead at halftime, Solano came out and stopped American River with a three-and-out.

As the match came to a close Friday night and the team "brought it in" for a final cheer, the faces of the girls said it all. The night ended with a disappointing 1-0 loss for the Solano Falcons soccer team, their first of the season. The Falcons played a hard game against the Cypress Chargers at home Friday night, but fell short of a fourth-consecutive win.

Water Polo off to sluggish start in 2008

With the current heat wave, it would seem like the Solano Falcons water polo team has found the ultimate way to beat the summer temperatures - It turns out that the players feel the heat too. They have struggled in their first two outings, which included a scrimmage and a tournament.

Women's soccer continues winning ways

The Solano Falcons women's soccer team won yet again as they beat American River 2-1. Sabrina Perez scored the first goal of the game in the 20th minute, with Kellie Detweiler contributing the assist to give Solano a 1-0. With a 1-1 tie in the second half, Katie Knopp scored in the 65th minute with Adrianna Vasquez dealing the assist The Falcons play Las Positas of Livermore tonight at 7 p.
