Dear TalkToMe,
I want to buy a computer. I can’t decide between a Mac and a PC. Macs are really expensive and I don’t have a lot of money. However, I would buy one if it’s worth it. If PC’s are the better choice what is a really good one I can get? Also, I need something that I can use for internet gaming. Thanks!

R.C.,
Thanks for the question. Out of the two, a PC would be best for gaming. Also, a PC is a lot cheaper than a Mac. You can buy a simple PC and upgrade it with a new graphics card, sound card, mother board, etc.
A small Mac laptop costs about a $1,000. It’s only about 2 GB. It comes with a small screen; about 13.3 inches.
However, a PC laptop costs anywhere from $500-900. I have a Dell Inspiron and love it. It costs about $500 at Best Buy and you can get it in colors such as pink, red, green, etc. This computer is a 3 GB. It comes with a 15.6 inch screen. It works really well and I never have problems.
I’ve heard that Vista, which most PC’s have right now, is bad for gaming
However, the Dell Inspiron mention above comes with Windows 7. Windows 7 has been getting good reviews lately and I don’t think it will affect your game playing.
In summary, it is $500 dollars cheaper, has 1 more GB and has a screen 2.3 inches bigger than a Mac laptop. I would get a simple PC for a good price and add on as you have money to spend.
I hope this helps!
