Solano College volleyball split four games this past weekend at the San Joaquin Delta College Tournament in Stockton.

The Falcons (3-6) suffered both of their losses on Friday, one to DeAnza College in three sets, 19-25, 18-25, 21-25, and Chabot College in four, 19-25, 25-15, 19-25, 22-25.

Saturday was a complete turnaround from Friday, as they beat Modesto College in four sets, 26-24, 25-23, 17-25, 25-16, and City College of San Francisco in three 25-18, 29-27, and 25-20.

“We played really well together on Saturday and everything started to click,” said head coach Darla Williams

Christina Horner led the team with 46 kills in the tourney. Samantha Neveadomi chipped in 18 kills.

“It ended up being a good, successful tournament because we were able to do things we haven’t able to do all year,” Williams said.

Solano College plays at Sacramento City College today at 7:30 p.m.
