Q: Why do you play basketball?
A: I have been playing basketball since I was in the 5th grade and I play basketball because I love to compete. I love the feeling of being on the court with my teammates and working hard.
Q: What are some inspirations?
A: My inspiration is my family, hands down. I always tend to be very hard on myself, and when I am seconds from breaking down, they find the words to encourage and inspire me to work even harder.
Q: How is the season going so far?
A: Season is going great so far. We are undefeated in conference right now and we seem to improve in each game.
Q: What have been some of the biggest hurdles so far?
A: Some of the biggest hurdles for me is to stay dedicated and to remind myself that I made a commitment when I joined the team, and quitting this year is not an option?
Q: How does this seasons’ team differ from last season’s team?
A: I think that this year we have a lot more depth on the team.
Q: What are your plans for yourself after Solano?
A: After Solano, I would like to transfer to Long Beach state university and from there I would like to study abroad in Spain.
If I could play any other sport other than basketball, it would be either soccer or softball.
