This Friday, May 18, there will be a celebration held in the library to commemorate the release of the spring 2012 issue of the Suisun Valley Review. Attending will be poet and alumna Patricia Killelea, who will be reading from her latest work, and poet Dorine Jennette will be present to announce 2012 winner and honorable mention(s) of the Quinton Duval Award in Creative Writing.

The Suisun Valley Review is the product of English 58, the Literary Magazine class. It was established in 1981 for the students of Solano Community College to learn the art of editing a literary journal while working together to create their own annual magazine.
