The Tempest is the student newspaper of Solano Community College, located on the main campus in Fairfield, California.

The Tempest operates through the Journalism 59, 60, 61, 62 and 64 classes.  Class meets in 1861 MWF from 12-2, with other hours by arrangement.

The Tempest classes are hard work and fun, and allow you to have a voice in your community. The Tempest seeks writers, photographers, editors, cartoonists and other talent to join the staff.
